Ruka Hair

When Tendai Moyo started the London based beauty brand Ruka, she envisioned to create the manifestation of the work that all the Black women did to keep the spirit and joy of hair-making alive.

For the debut of their first product line, Ruka turned to Kokokaka for a launch campaign with a certain come-as-you-are take, exploring the brilliance of a hair routine that feels uncomplicated, practical and fun in a series of portraits.
